People often ask if they can come tour my "facilities." Unfortunately, that is not possible. For me, hamsters are just a hobby. I raise them in my house. I work very long hours at my job and just don't have the time for tours right now. I try to focus my time and attention while home on the animals themselves and on their care.
I always encourage people to come to our California Hamster Association shows (go to www.geocities.com/CalHamAssoc for details). Here you can see a variety of colors and types of hamsters and talk to many owners. We always have some for sale too. That is by far the best way to learn more about our local hamsters.
